Enjoy the Festive Excitement of a Welsh Christmas Market

OK, so we know it’s only just November but it’s almost time to begin the planning your trip to a Welsh Christmas market.

The caravan season may be coming to an end. The nights are darker, the air is cooler and Christmas is just a few weeks away. Christmas Markets are springing up all over the country. To get in the festive mood why not visit a Welsh Christmas Market in North Wales.

Cardiff Christmas Market – 10 November to 23 December 2016

Discover over 80 old-style wooden stalls set around the pedestrianised streets in the Hayes, Trinity Street, Hills Street, Working Street and St John Street around Cardiff city centre. Llandudno Christmas Fayre – 17th to 20th November 2016

These festive stalls are to be found in Trinity Square, August Street and Madoc Street. This traditional Christmas Fayre, held in the wonderful Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno brings festive cheer and cultural entertainment to the visitors. With more than 165 stalls in the centre of the town, each offers individual items for you to buy those unusual gifts for Christmas time. You can enjoy friendly entertainment and hospitality, together with specific Welsh cultures and traditional fayre. With a Dickensian atmosphere and Santa’s Grotto, this  Welsh Christmas market offers something for all the family.

Swansea Christmas Street Market – November 18th to 23rd December 2016

Plenty of Christmas cheer, shopping and spectacular lights! Family, festive entertainment can be found here at Oxford Street. The Christmas market features a fantastic choice of international food and drink, handmade goods and crafts. There are plenty of speciality gifts for you to browse and buy, whether it’s for a Christmas gift for yourself or someone else.

When you’re done shopping, why not head over to the Waterfront Winterland. In it’s 11th year, you will discover Santa’s Grotto, Ice Skating and a Fun Fair. This event is held in Museum Park, in the grounds of the National Waterfront Museum.
