Tips for spending an Easter Caravan Holiday in North Wales

The weather forecast is not looking too bad this year for an Easter caravan holiday in North Wales.  Nevertheless, it’s always wise to prepare for the worst, just in case the Met Office is wrong again!

Here are some tips for things to bring with you so that your Easter break will be enjoyable, no matter the weather:

  1. More bedding – If your caravan is not kitted out with extra bedding, it always useful to bring some at this time of the year.
  2. Clothes – Don’t forget warm coats, boots, scarves, gloves and jumpers and raincoats. If you haven’t already got umbrellas at the caravan, being some in the case of April showers.
  3. Board games – tearing the children away from their technology might not be easy but it is worth a try. The whole family can participate in games like Snakes & Ladders, Monopoly, Go, Trivial Pursuit etc. and it really is a lot of fun. Rests the eyes from screen strain too! Card games played with real cards will be novel for the kids!
  4. Lots of food – Easter is a time of feasting and if the weather isn’t great, no one really wants to go out. If you have enough food in the caravan, there is no need to! Hot cross buns and chocolate are naturally a must!

Shopping on an Easter caravan holiday in North Wales

Although it is possible to buy things when you arrive in North Wales you’ll probably find they are slightly more expensive than if you had bought them at home.  And it’s not much fun to have to go out shopping on an Easter holiday. If you haven’t got time to shop before you arrive, there’s always the possibility to book a slot for delivery with the Welsh supermarkets. If you plan to do this, book well in advance because these slots are booked up fast over holiday periods.

It is a myth that caravan holidays can’t be enjoyed in inclement weather. Indeed it’s a fantastic way of getting all the family together and spending quality time with each other.

Sirior Bach is a quiet caravan park and the perfect place to spend an Easter holiday in North Wales. If you haven’t already purchased on our exclusive site, 2017 may well be the year to do it.
