Wrexham Brewing Festival – 12th September 2015
Enjoy free entry to this festival which features local Wrexham lager, as well as other small local breweries that will showcase their wares. Participate in the demonstrations, listen to the history of brewing and browse the artefacts and historic brewing records from the museum collection.

Don’t forget to sample the ales and lager brewed in the area together with traditional fare of snacks and the renowned Orchard Pig pies.

British Open Amateur Golf Championship, Senior British Ladies – 14th – 17th September
Being held this year at Prestatyn Golf club, this is a must visit for those Golf Enthusiasts amongst you. The Golf Club is set in 150 acres of stunning links area with beautiful sea views.

More regional activities
In the Abergele region around Sirior Bach Holiday Park, there are many other activities to make your holiday a memorable one.  Try your hand yacht cruising at Conwy Cruising Club with a fleet of over 130 crafts; take a trip on a weekend around the Menai Straits and Anglesey.

Sail the seas on a Lobster Safari, under the careful eye of your skipper who has more than 20 years commercial fishing experience. The boat will take you on a trip around the Great Orme where you will also see many aspects of marine and other wildlife in natural habitats. Experience the pulling-in of the lobster baskets to see if you have achieved a catch of the “Black Gold of the Sea”!

Do you have the enthusiasm for an outdoor adventure? With many activities on offer you can have a go at Abseiling, or scarily, adventurous Gorge Walking, wild, wet and great fun! These outdoor events are arranged by Seren Ventures, in Conwy.

For a more extreme sport, try out the new “Hill Rolling” craze at Holywell, near Conwy with Sphere Mania. This involves rolling down a steep hill in an inflatable ball at speed; not for the faint-hearted.
