If you own a holiday home on one of the 12 month static caravan sites, North Wales is a great place to be next week, for a day out at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair. There is something for all the family to enjoy at this annual event even if it is raining, since many of the activities are held indoors.
You’ll see horses and livestock walked around an arena to be judged, poultry presented to win rosettes and dogs entered for the best in show.
There are also competitions for the best produce, arts and crafts and floral art. Have a look at this video of the Winter Fair to get an insight into what you can expect to see there.
In addition there will be an abundance of sumptuous Welsh food and produce available for sale in the Food Hall and if you want to buy some great gifts for Christmas you can shop till you drop in the Christmas Shopping Pavilion.
Food Hall
Every year producers compete with each other, selling excellent, flavoursome food and there will be a number of Award Winning exhibitors as usual selling a variety of produce with the distinctive Welsh flavour we all know and love. You’ll be able to sample the food before purchasing and perhaps buy some of the gift wrapped produce as unique Christmas gifts for someone special.
Christmas Shopping
Christmas Shopping Pavilion will be like an Aladdin’s cave, where you can find unusual gifts for a person who has everything or something unique that friends or family will treasure.
There are innumerable stalls and a marquee on the Showground selling a wide range of items suitable for gifts all at affordable prices. On the day the Winter Fair starts there will less than 4 weeks to Christmas so it’s a fantastic opportunity to get the bulk of your shopping done and dusted.
